Hello , My Husband and I decided to build our cabin as it has been my husbands dream to do. It took 2 years as we did all the work with helpers hired to work with us and due to most of the building supplies was hand done.Which means all the lumber had to be cured (dried), ran through the planer before being installed. From the dressers , beds, doors and trim work to the cabinets was all hand done by Us and local Amish. The railing was used from our woods and the interior railing balusters was from 2021 ice storm that had damaged our pine trees so we scraped the bark off and cure them and added them to our cabin. Our daughter is the cleaner and she puts her full effort on cleanliness for you to enjoy your stay. We hope you will enjoy as much we have.
